EARLY BODY ODOR /ACNE/ADVANCED BONE AGE

What you need to know

Early body odor, early acne, early pubic hair or armpit hair are signs that the adrenal glands have woken up (adrenarche ). These are the triangular glands sitting on top of our kidneys responsible for making sex hormones and weak male like hormones which produce body odor/acne and pubic hair. Adrenarche is different from true puberty which is breast development in girls and testicular change in boys .Although earlier adrenarche could be anormal variant sometimes it can be caused due to undiagnosed genetic abnormalities such as nonclassical CAH, tumors , exposure to hormones and endocrine disruptors. These weak male like hormones may cause a child to attain true puberty earlier. These hormones may cause an earlier maturing of growth    plates causing a child to lose a few inches of height. This condition can be picked up early and monitored
